Toyoko “Toyo” Hokomoto, 84, of Pepeekeo died May 24 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was retired from the county Retired Senior Volunteer Program and the former S.H. Kress Store and was a member of Honomu Hongwanji Mission and HGEA Retirees. Visitation 3-4 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Casual attire. Survived by husband, Asaichi “Asa” Hokomoto of Pepeekeo; son, Neil (Ann) Hokomoto of Hilo; sister-in-law, Pauline Hokomoto of Hilo; one grandson; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Frank “Ron” Ronald Rapoza, 71, of Mountain View died June 9 at Hospice of Hilo’s Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Hilo, he was a retired pump technician for the county Department of Water Supply, president of the Mountain View Mini Mart and Gas ‘N Go, former Big Island vice president of United Public Workers, youth athletics coach, member of Hilo Trollers and vintage car collector. William Edward “Ed” Suttle, 62, of Kurtistown, died May 3 at Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center in Honolulu.
